At Lauren Blakemore Aquatics, the belief is that everyone should have the opportunity to learn to swim!

That is why I believe that adults should be given an equal opportunity to learn. Below you will find that Adult lessons are designed a little differently. Please consider what is best for you!

Option One:
Refresh

For many clients, swimming is something they did when they were younger and they desire the ability to refresh their skills and gain more confidence. Maybe you completed just enough to get by as a kid, maybe you want to regain confidence. This is the best option for you!

Option Two:
Overcome

For some clients; learning to swim is frightening, and that can stem from a traumatic experience or never having had the opportunity to learn. This option progresses at a slower rate, and focuses on gaining confidence. Instructors are trained in patience and methods that help you feel safe!

Option Three:
Strengthen

For other clients, swimming is an opportunity to strengthen their body, or regain mobility. Swimming is easier on our bodies as we are weightless. This option focuses on strength training and creates a space for you to feel stronger inside and outside the pool through body aware exercise.

The Hardest Part; is always starting:

Believe me, I know just how hard starting something new can be, but when it comes to learning a lifelong skill, nothing beats the satisfaction of accomplishing something you through was ‘impossible’.
