I can’t say enough about how amazing Lauren is. She made our summer hands down. She came and assessed my boys, and then created a detailed and personalized learning plan for each of them. She came prepared each time with her bag of fun! She provided updates at the end of each lesson, her communication was always very thorough. She is very organized and professional. Lauren provided a safe and fun environment for my kids. She was calm, funny, respectful, but also firm when needed and always fair. Not only did my boys learn to swim, they also leaned water safety, and most of all, confidence in themselves as swimmers. I fully plan on having Lauren back next year ❤️ Thank you again Lauren!

I can’t suggest Aquatics by Lauren Blakemore more. My autistic 5 year old benefited from lessons with Lauren in a large way!! My son is not the easiest to teach as he can be very rigid. But with Lauren’s help and lots of patience we made progress in just 4 lessons!! We even managed to get my son to go under water fully, to touch the bottom of the pool! We are very much looking forward to more lessons with Lauren next summer! My son would not even be close to where he is now without the help of Lauren. She helps build the confidence that you need to be comfortable in water.

We were so thankful to have Lauren as a swim instructor for our three children, She is amazing at what she does. We were especially grateful for her boundaries and perseverance with our strong willed child. All three kids learned far more quickly with Lauren then with public lessons. 

Lauren was great with our little kids. They loved their week of swimming lessons, we plan to book more with her!

Lauren is an amazing teacher! She helps the student wherever they are at, to get better. She taught our 3yo son really good water survival skills and we definitely look forward to work with her again soon.

They really enjoyed it and got so much better with swimming and the best of all was how patient and consistent Lauren was during the lessons to teach the kids all kind of different live saving techniques ! Lauren was extremely patient with my shy toddler . She gained my daughters trust carefully and made learning fun. She was very flexible with scheduling and even went as far as finding us a new pool to have lessons in when ours got too cold! Highly recommend!

Lauren is a fantastic instructor! Her professionalism and quality of instruction is second to none! Out four year old daughter had one-on-one swimming lessons with Lauren who was fully capable of providing the firm but nurturing instruction that our squirmy and easily distracted daughter needed. Lauren was also quick to identity our girls strengths allowing Lauren to target her instruction to those skills that needed growth. 

We have used Lauren for three summers now for private swim lessons with out 3.5-year old son. She has gained his trust very quickly and is always able to keep him engaged!

Did they cry their first lessons? Yep! Did we continue? You bet! We put our faith in our instructor and gave them the space they needed and the kids really warmed up in no time. We found it so helpful to “hide” in the house out of sight and the kids quickly adapted. We watched them lose their fear of water and fain confidence and an acknowledgement of the importance of pool safety at the same time. Family pool time is forever changed as we practice their swimming skills and build on their excitement for swimming. We look forward to next year with our mermaid aquatics.laurenblakemore.

This is our 2nd time having Lauren teach my daughter swim lessons. Like always she is a fantastic instructor! I feel very safe having her teach my daughter in the pool. You won’t regret having Lauren as a swim instructor and learning a lifelong skill!

We had a great experience putting my son in swimming with Lauren Aquatics. Lauren was excellent at keeping the kids engaged and setting clear boundaries and expectations. She was consistent, timely and flexible when needed. I would use Lauren again in the future.
